Guild Issues:

What are Two Percent's guild ranks and how do I get promoted?

How do I get items from the guild bank?
You can request any normal (white, green, blue) item by whispering any officer. For raid supplies (flasks, oils, etc), you must whisper a raid officer. Only the guild leader or an assistant guild leader can choose to grant requests for epic items or gold.

Can I put items in the guild bank?
Sure! Please try to only put in items that are rare but useful to other players. Do not put anything gray in the guild bank. Do not put gray, white, or green gear in the guild bank. If you are unsure where an item belongs in the guild bank, please whisper an officer.

I can't see the guild bank, why not?
Fresh Milk and Mad Cows cannot see the guild bank.

What rules are there for guild chat?
There are no specific rules, but Two Percent is a family friendly guild. Please refrain from cursing, unnecessary crudeness, and explicit topics.

What rules are there for Ventrilo (vent)?
There are no specific rules, but Two Percent is a family friendly guild. Many players have young children. Please refrain from cursing, unnecessary crudeness, politics, and explicit topics.

I have a problem with the guild. Who do I talk to?
Any officer.

I have a problem with someone in the guild. Who do I talk to?
Any officer.

I have a problem with an officer. Who else can I talk to?
Any of the assistant guild leaders or the guild leader. It is also suggested you attempt to work out your problem with that officer before approaching another. Be aware that officers do talk to each other.

I received a warning, what does that mean?
You performed a behavior not condoned as part of Two Percent's family friendly atmosphere. Too many warnings (or even one, if the behavior was bad enough) will get you removed from the guild (gkicked).

I got gkicked and believe it was unfair. Who can I appeal to?
Whisper an officer. Be aware that the officers do communicate with each other. Lying, yelling, abusive whispers, and other such behavior will not be tolerated by any officer and will not get you back in the guild.

Loot

How do raids distribute loot?
In progression raids, Two Percent uses Master Looter to give out loot based on the Suicide Kings looting method.
Non-progression raids allow players to roll (the "/roll" command) for gear. The highest roller wins.

What is Suicide Kings?
Suicide Kings puts players in a list. When loot is offered, you have a chance to "bid" on the loot. The highest person in the list who "bids" wins the loot. Bidding does not require any gold. If you win, you "suicide" by dropping to the bottom of the list. This ensures a fair rotation for players.

What can I bid on?
See the loot rules.

Where can I see this list?
On the forums here.

What is KSK?
KSK is an addon that raid officers can use to track players for Suicide Kings. Raid officers sometimes use "KSK" to refer to the Suicide Kings method.

I have an idea for a better system, who do I talk to?
The raid officers have spent hours discussing various systems for looting. However, if you feel that you have a better system, speak to any raid officer.

What is the "Gentleman's Rule"?
The "Gentleman's Rule" is if the loot that drops is a better upgrade for another player, you are a "gentleman" and offer it to the other player first. Raid leaders will not ask, but do notice and appreciate players who go by the "Gentleman's Rule".

Officers:

How are officers chosen? How do I become an officer?
Officers are chosen by invitation only, as decided by the current officers. Many factors go into this decision, including the needs of the guild as a whole, as well as the ability, availability, attitude, and general helpfulness of the person in question.

Who are the officers? Raid Leaders?
Please see the Guild Officer List.

What abilities do officers/raid leaders have?
"Cheese" or regular officers have access to officer chat and the officer forums online.

"Bull" or raid leaders have all the abilities of "Cheese" and can access tab 3 of the guild bank. They cannot access any other tab or gold. They can repair their gear up to 50G per day.

"Larders" are bank officers. They have all the abilities of "Cheese" and they have full access to the guild bank tabs, but not to guild gold.
The guild leader and assistant guild leaders can access officer chat, officer forums, all guild bank tabs and the guild gold.

Raiding:

How often does Two Percent Raid?
Two Percent usually, but not always, schedules a weekly 10 man progression raid. In addition, there are usually one or two 10 man non-progression raids depending on content and raid officer availability.

When are the raids?
Check here.

How do I sign up for raids?
Check Here.

Why aren't the weeklies always scheduled?
Raids are scheduled based on the willingness and ability of a raid officer to lead them. If no one is available, then one will not be scheduled. Two Percent is NOT a raiding guild and the officers are not required to raid. That said, weeklies usually occur in guild once or twice a week.

Who gets chosen for raids?
Anyone can sign up for a non-progression raid. Non-progression raids are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Progression raiders must be "cleared" by passing a Progression Test. After passing this test, raiders are allowed to sign up queued for progession raids Here.

Players are selected by the raid officers based on need - for example, if 5 melee dps and one ranged sign up, the ranged will be chosen to have a mix of DPS types. If only two healers sign up, they will both be chosen because two healers are needed for the raid.
However, once those slots have been filled, players are chosen by those who have attended raids regularly. For example, if the raid leaders must chose between a player who attends raids regularly and a player who very rarely attends raids, they will choose the player who attends regularly.

If you are not choosen one week, but regularly sign up and are ready to go when raids occur, you will probably be chosen the following week.

I wasn't chosen for raid, why not?
There may have been too many of a particular class (example: Hunters, Druids) or ability (example: DPS, Healers) signed up. If you sign up and are prepared to attend raids regularly, you will most likely be chosen for the next raid. If you feel you have been ignored or overlooked, speak to an officer. The raid officer can explain their choices to you for a particular raid, time permitting. Do not interrupt a raid in progress to ask, however.

How do I get "cleared" for raiding?
DPS must pass a progression test observed by an officer, who will then post the results of your test to the forums.
Healers and tanks must be inspected by an officer, who will post their stats to the forums.

What test is required for raiding?
You must meet or exceed the raid minimums.

Why is testing required for raiding?
Testing is required as proof to the raid leaders and other players that you have the ability to do your part in a raid. This also prevents arguments such as, "but my gear is better" or "but I'm a better player." Everyone must pass the test, including raid officers who must test each other.

What is GearScore (GS)?
GearScore is an addon that assigns a value to your gear and an overall value to your gear as a whole. Higher numbers can (but don't always) indicate better gear.

Do I need a specific gearscore?
No, raiders are only required to pass raid minimums.

What gear do I need to raid?
Specific gear is not required, but good PvE gear is necessary to pass raid minimums.

I need something made, who can I ask?

Realm Behavior:

What does Two Percent expect from it's members in the realm?
As a member of Two Percent, you represent us in the Uldaman realm. Two Percent expects their members to be helpful and not engage in unseemly behavior. "Flaming" or "trolling" in trade chat can be grounds for a warning or removal from the guild. Rudeness or "ninja" behavior in dungeons or raids (with or without fellow guildies) are also grounds for a warning or removal from the guild.

What does Two Percent expect from it's members in raids?
Members are expected to be prepared for raids. Bring flasks, potions, and enough gold to cover repairs. If you require reagents or arrows, bring those. Raids will usually provide a fish feast (for a food buff) but you are always welcome to bring your own food for buffs. If the raid is new to you, read up on what happens in the raid. Try to know what might be asked of you and be prepared for it.

What does Two Percent expect from it's members in dungeons?
Members are expected to behave fairly. Do not "need" on items you do not actually need. (A behavior known as "ninja'ing") Greed or Pass (or DE) on all other items. If there is another gatherer, attempt to fairly gather from the resources available. Players should attempt their best for each boss.

What does Two Percent expect from it's members otherwise?
Members are expected to be helpful to other guild members. Answer questions posed in guild chat if you know the answer. It is common for players to send helpful items to other players - for example, a level 80 player sending a level 70 player a piece of loot they received and do not want that might be helpful to another person. It is common for people with certain professions to craft items for other guild members for free when the mats are provided.

What behavior is unacceptable to Two Percent?
"Flaming" or "trolling" in trade chat can be grounds for a warning or removal from the guild. Rudeness or "ninja" behavior in dungeons or raids (with or without fellow guildies) are also grounds for a warning or removal from the guild. Cursing, unnecessary crudeness, and explicit topics in guild chat or on ventrilo is also grounds for a warning or removal from the guild.
Abuse or "flaming" on the guild forums is also grounds for a warning or removal from the guild.
Abuse outside of the guild (on facebook or by email) is also unacceptable. Just like chat and vent, do not curse, be unnecessarily crude, or mention explicit topics on anyone's facebook or in unsolicited email.
